Noel Jones has been involved with the design, and maintenance of organs since 1963. He apprenticed with Nelson Bailey, in Salem, Ohio and Philip Croteau in New York City. He has developed organ designs under the supervision of Dr Charles Courboin and Lawrence Phelps. Following more than fifteen years designing and voicing digital church organs in Cleveland, Ohio he then served as a sales engineer for the Tellers Organ Company and as well as the Möller Organ Company. He began working with Rodgers Digital and Pipe Organs in the mid 1990s. He has passed the exams and been awarded the Associateship of the American Guild of Organists accredited by the New York State Board of Regents, qualifying him to wear the Masters Hood. He has performed numerous recitals, and was invited to perform for a National American Guild of Organists convention at the suggestion of Lawrence Phelps.
