Today I spoke with a woman who mentioned that after the milk truck picked up the milk from the Jersey cows on the farm, they had to scrape the rich cream, almost butter, from the vats. And they always kept some chocolate syrup to make chocolate milk out of rich, fresh milk of the vat.
Tastes totally different from the homogenized and pasteurized milk from the store.
Our ears have gotten so used to equal temperament that when listening to these Temperamental CD's people complain about how out of tune some intervals and chords sound. But before long they realize how in tune others are and they realize how much we have lost by adopting equal temperament for our tuning.
Our very popular CD's that scientifically and musically explore temperaments in a way the Pythagorus woudl have appreciated. Purchased by students, professors, libraries, universities and people who love early music through the baroque, these CD's are now played around the world.
