Hymns for Churches without Organists

The popularity of making music in the home has decreased, replaced by listening to music in the home, by radio, record and tape players and now videos.

The families who bought a piano or reed organ invested some money into it and, as a result, paid for lessons to make sure that their investment was justified.  The piano or organ student was asked to play when friends visited.

Today’s organists are a product of this purchase.

Today, grandparents buy a very inexpensive keyboard to see if a child “takes to music.”  These keyboards often have self-teaching programs built in.  These keyboards, with very few exceptions end up at the Goodwill store or a closet or the attic, unused.

As a result churches are now finding themselves without organists.

Is there a solution?

Frog Music has assisted churches for more than 15 years in this situation.

We have available a library of hymns that will play on any organ that “speaks” MIDI, essentially a music computer language that is now included in almost all organs built, both pipe and digital.

Our library of hymns plays your organ for you, taking advantage of MIDI and a volunteer to run the MIDI player.

We give you access to our library of hymns, training on the simple process of running the MIDI player and the organ.

We also provide MIDI recording of hymns and anthems that are not in our library.

Funerals are also something that we can help with, recording and emailing hymns within 24 hours, when needed.
