How did this come about?
The books were written in collaboration with the head engineer at Roland Japan over the design and creation of Classical Keyboard instruments, upon completion Ikaturo Kakehashi was kind enough to permit us to dedicate Book 1 to him, a great honor for us.
Roland has always understood the need for music education and that intent was shared by Duane Kuhn at Rodgers from his first days in Marketing (he ordered every book we hade ever done and featured them in the bookcase in his office) and this conitnued when was named the head of Rodgers Instruments LLC.
*Book 10 is not part of the set package - it is only for people who want use an External MIDI box, such as the Roland Interga7 with the organ.
